Gortis ancient city

Gortys flourished during the Minoan period and was the capital of Crete during the Roman era. Characterized by the Church of St. Titus, the Odeon and Platanos, while of particular significant are the room with the Laws, the Early Christian church of Crete and the Praetorium, the seat that the Roman governor of Crete.
